Collected when you create an account or submit. Legal basis: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for account holders; legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Retained until you request deletion or three years of inactivity.
We collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on page, geographic region (country level), and referral source using Plausible. Retained for 24 months.
Legal basis: legitimate interest. We do not use Google Analytics in its default configuration as it transfers personal data to the US without adequate safeguards.
When users submit exhibition materials (PDFs, images, checklists, press releases), we store these files and process them using AI tools to extract structured metadata (artist names, works, dimensions, prices).
Legal basis: contract performance. Files are retained for the duration of your relationship with V Tre plus two years, or deleted on request.
Submitted content may be processed by third-party AI services including Anthropic (Claude API) for metadata extraction. Anthropic processes data under a data processing agreement and does not use API-submitted content to train models. We do not submit personally identifiable information to AI services beyond what is contained in submitted materials.
Your data is stored on servers in the US and EU. As a US-incorporated company, data transfers to the US are covered under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with our service providers.
We use the following third-party data processors, each operating under a data processing agreement:
- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI metadata extraction, US-based
- Plausible Analytics — anonymized analytics, EU-hosted
- Vercel — infrastructure, US-based
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and port your data. To exercise any right, email privacy@vtre.cc. We respond within 30 days.
We use only functional cookies necessary to operate the platform, plus Plausible, which sets no cookies in its privacy-first configuration. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
